All right, well, I figured since it's been almost a YEAR since I posted anything here, and OVER a year since I made a new journal for my account's front page...I may as well do something about that, eheh.

Um.

Yeah.

I have plenty of excuses for my absence from this site. I had a job where the computer network blocks dA, for example, so while I could visit other sites to my heart's content on my lunch breaks, I couldn't come here. That's not a particularly GOOD excuse, though. Mostly, I've had about 5,000 long spates of art block that made me scared to even try to draw anything. So I had nothing to post. Or didn't want to post what I did draw. Or couldn't, for various reasons. Maybe that's a better one? I don't know.

Anyway, a lot of stuff has gone down over the time period since I made a journal. Some of it was bad. Really, really bad. And stupid. Oh so veeery very stupid. But plenty of it was good! My clerkship job went well, and I have a new position lined up (I just don't know when I start, don't you love government work?). I had two surgeries to correct my strabismus (laymen's terms='I got my eyes straightened so I no longer look like a freak, yaaaay! *Kermitflail*' ). And I've had multiple visits with friends--which is probably the best of the good stuff.

I've kind of missed the community here. But I'm not sure yet if I'll get back into it, or if I'll end up having another art-terror flareup and not want to come around again. So today I'm dropping off a few things that a) I don't hate and b) I feel like I can post here. And we'll see what happens from there.
